Building Better Money Habits Since 2012
Forfoutiti was founded in 2012 by Adwoa Mensah, a financial educator with a passion for empowering small business owners in Ghana. After years of working in the banking sector, Adwoa noticed a significant gap in financial education specifically designed for market vendors and small entrepreneurs.
Many of these hardworking business owners struggled with basic financial management, not due to lack of intelligence or effort, but because traditional financial education wasn't designed with their specific needs in mind.
Starting with just a small workshop in Makola Market in Accra, Adwoa began developing practical financial education materials that addressed the real challenges faced by market vendors. The response was overwhelming – business owners were eager to learn when the information was presented in a way that made sense for their daily operations.
Over the years, Forfoutiti has grown from these humble beginnings to become Ghana's leading provider of financial education for small business owners. Today, our team of dedicated professionals continues to develop innovative educational resources that help entrepreneurs build better money habits and grow sustainable businesses.
At Forfoutiti, we believe that financial knowledge should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to empower market vendors and small business owners in Ghana with the financial skills they need to thrive.
